SPPSH Helps You Get Over Your Perfectionism Problem

SPPSH Helps You Get Over Your Perfectionism ProblemWhile there's nothing wrong with hard work, it's a problem when your self-expectations are too high. Attempting to avoid every mistake and try to do perfect work doesn't make us better or aspirational but rather unhappy and unproductive. SPPSH (Socially Prescribed Perfectionism Self-Help) is a simple program that helps you determine if you have an issue with perfectionism and offers help to solve the problem.

The program was created by Brian Newton, who has helped us with a few psychology-related posts in the past. He created this online program to assess an individual's difficulty with perfectionism and exercises to help solve the problem. The program requires a bit of a time commitment, but if you feel like you're never meeting your own high expectations you ought to check it out. Nobody wants to be imperfect or make mistakes, but it's inevitable. You can do far better work and feel better about life when you actually embrace that reality.
